Having a look at some of the films that I was left rather disappointed with in 2016, that is often due to the hype surrounding them before you get to watch them. I have noticed that Comic Book based films seem to take up most of this list. Surely that just shows that we have way too many over the past few years and it has now past the point of no return in getting loads of them each year.

I don’t know where I have been for the past two months, as that is the date on the trailer on YouTube. But I have seen it twice in the past week on the big screen and the mixture of action with the very messed up and strange version of “You Don’t Own Me” has helped me find new excitement about this film!

Louis Zamperini became an Olympic athlete thanks to his brother Pete’s attempts to change his life around. With the outbreak of World War II he never gets to compete in his second Olympics. After a plane crash, which in the end was the easiest thing for him to survive.
The world is split into five factions which are based on virtues, at a certain age people must pick which faction they believe they fit into. This is often helped by the test taken the day before. Not that simple for Tris when she learns that she does not actually fit in and discovers she is a divergent. She must battle to survive as divergents are being found and killed off.
