In 2015 I managed to catch a record breaking 20 musicals and plays on stage in both the North East (Sunderland Empire or Theatre Newcastle) as well as trips to London to see them in the West End. You can read through the normal list 2015 Theatre. This number was certainly boosted by the Wicked UK Tour visiting Sunderland which I just had to go and see more than once, three times to be exact. This was also down to getting some fantastic deals with ATG Theatre Card, as for less popular touring shows at the Sunderland Empire I do get some discounts. This is nice and means you can buy last minute tickets for some shows, obviously depending on how popular they are.
The show I mentioned in my 2014 at the Theatre you know just the small one starring Imelda Staunton . . . Gypsy I went to see twice in London! Let’s say goodbye to 2015 . . .
I had a bit of a nightmare on Wednesday that when I went to watch A Christmas Carol I left the programme I bought in the toilets! So I did not have it to get signed at the stage door. So I had to get my ticket signed instead.

To make it all more disappointing Jim Broadbent said no photos, which I was really surprised about as had seen quite a few on twitter with fans at the stage door. Must have caught him on an off day?

I have felt inspired to have a musical moment today as I am putting together a post on Jim Broadbent as my excitement is growing to head to see him as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol on 16th December (which will be my last Theatre show of 2015). So I have decided to celebrate two of his fantastic musical moments in Moulin Rouge!
The Show Must Go On – a rather serious moment which sums up exactly what they all must do!

After the release of Kingsman this week it got me thinking about Colin Firth and how good his career has been and will continue to grow. I had quite an obsession with him years ago and managed to watch a wide range of his films, so I thought I would pick seven films to include in this list of his films that you might not have seen.
I made sure to leave off what I thought to be the obvious ones and his biggest films that have been out so far!
