Arnold Schwarzenegger turns 70 years old today!
I thought what better way to celebrate than picking my seven favourite of his films, he is my ultimate guilty pleasure. I enjoyed many of his silly comedy films when I was a kid and still enjoy watching them to this day.
This has always been one of my favourite Christmas films (and guilty pleasures), I love Arnold Schwarzenegger. I mean come on who doesn’t? Maybe its best if people don’t answer that one though!

This post is obviously a bit of fun and just showing how many Christmas film essentials it really does have, that you might just forget about. I mean come on a dad is trying to get the latest hottest toy for his son, he doesn’t wait until Christmas Eve or anything and think it will be easy to just go and pick it up. Oh. Then gets into a battle with another dad who is also trying to find a Turbo Man doll, which creates for quite possible the worst Christmas Eve ever.

Who is with me and totally loves and appreciates Jingle All The Way?

Back in 2010 . . . I completed my Top 10 list of Christmas films – Top 10 Christmas films
Take a look at things that make a good Christmas film here.

A lot of blog posts and talk is currently surrounding Christmas films, so I decided that I would think about what makes a good Christmas film. Especially as it’s not that we get new quality Christmas films every year it always seems to be older now classic films which everyone makes sure they watch at some point in the build up to Christmas. These must have key elements which make everyone love them and want to watch them year in year out. I think that does help make these films extra special, as long as you get the formula right recent times have been more Christmas Turkeys rather than classics.

Every year as it gets close to Christmas time I find myself watching the same films you watch every year, but the good thing about them is that it’s special because you only watch them during a certain few weeks in December. So these seven films will be in no particular order and I will attempt to say what I like about them and why exactly I look forward to watching them at Christmas time.
Now this film has to be my Christmas guilty pleasure as while yes I know it is not a great film, I still totally love it! Loved watching it as a kid and still love watching it now.
