Musical Moments – Joker (Rock & Roll Part 2)

During the film I have to say the moment that music hit and he danced down the steps it was utterly outstanding. Well someone on YouTube has created a whole music video to the song and I have to say it is the perfect choice for this weeks Musical Moment! Joaquin Phoenix is unreal in the leading role (check out my review here) giving a truly haunting performance.

Joker (2019) Review

Arthur Fleck is a man outcast by society and must attempt to live his difficult life, but how much much can he actually take? Not having any real friends and the way his mother has raised him certainly does not help with the chaos forming within Gotham City.

Poster: Joker (2019)

Now the buzz around the Joker film for 2019 starring Joaquin Phoenix has already been rather huge. This poster was released a few days ago and it is certainly my favourite in recent memory.

Clever and effective using the tag line for the film so very well “Put on a happy face” it really does build my buzz for the film as well just look at it . . .

Trailer: Joker (2019)

The final trailer for the much anticipated Joker film starring the incredible Joaquin Phoenix. This really does look like a totally different take on the character placing a lot of mental health into the role as well.

Trailer & Poster: Joker (2019)

As if we don’t already have enough excitement going on in the film world at the moment the first trailer for Joaquin Phoenix dropped as the Joker yesterday following the poster a few days before.

Signs (2002) Review

Top 10 – Worst Films of 2018

Each year I find this list harder to put together considering I feel I make better choices when it comes to which films that I find myself watching. But obviously you are still going to come across some pretty awful films. I would just like to put a reminder on that this is obviously just my opinion! (You can check which films I saw at the cinema during 2018 here and 2018 films tagged here).  This all done by UK release date as well!

Here are the films that made it onto my top 10 worst of 2018 list . . .

Cineworld Secret Screening 9 – Possible Films

secret-screening-branded-2_zpszlrrdwja

The ninth secret screening date has been confirmed by Cineworld (website link) but it is not bookable yet. As standard now it has the 15 rating and 90 minutes as the running time, that doesn’t mean anything now though when they first started doing these screenings the time and rating used to be pretty much spot on, but they now have those down to try to trick everyone. We have now had so many different genre’s that it really could be pretty much any type of film.

Date: Monday 8th October 2018
