This was my second proper full year of logging everything I watch on Letterboxd and it really is so helpful and useful for keeping track of which films you watched and being able to put tags on means you can then easily scroll through that way as well. My challenge for this year was to “review” each film as well, which meant I just put in a couple of comments about the film.
Here we can take a look at my 2021 stats and I am sure no one will be surprised with my most watched films either!
Spider-Man’s identity is now revealed and known around the world Peter Parker asks Doctor Strange for help, to protect the people he loves but the spell doesn’t go to plan and dangerous characters from other worlds begin to show up.

Continue reading “Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) Review”This has been my most anticipated film since, well since Spider-Man: Far From Home finished! I have totally been looking Tom Holland’s Spider-Man within the Marvel Universe and in the build up to this I have watched the three Tobey Maguire films along with the two Andrew Garfield films. Plenty of rumours that they are both going to appear in No Way Home but so far it has been kept quiet with possible photo leaks but its hard to tell with photoshopping! This trailer does show some old villain faces are returning as the multiverse gets well and truly underway!
The build up to Sony releasing this first trailer, therefore the teaser trailer for Spider-Man: Now Way Home has gone a little bit crazy over the past few days! I mean I personally feel it is more than worth the wait and going to build everything up nicely for the release date in December. I actually quite like that a Marvel film in December, I’ve really loved the Spider-Man films with Tom Holland and this one is going to push those boundaries even more as we get to learn more about the multi-verse!
I signed up for Letterboxd way back in 2015. Yes, really! Although I didn’t actually start using it properly until the end of 2019 and therefore 2020 was the first full year that I logged every single film that I watched. Albeit not as many Cinema films as I would have liked, which leads me on to saying during the lockdown/furlough stage I spent a lot of time logging in the diary all of the films I had seen at the Cinema dating back to 2003 (yes, I still have my Lord of the Rings: Return of the King ticket). This obviously took a few weeks as I also logged the films I have review on here as well. So as you imagine a lot of time was taken to do this. It gives some amazing all-time stats though.

Rudy always wanted to play college football at Notre Dame not ending up in the steel mill where everyone in his small town worked. He did not want to give up on his dream despite his grades being low and half the size of the other players. But he had more heart and spirit than most of them combined.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man/Peter Parker must deal with his grief whilst also stepping up and protecting the world which has been changed forever.

Now that the ban has lifted on talking about Endgame, this was timed for the Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer as it is the first film after and obviously the trailer contains spoilers. I have seen Endgame twice so far at the cinema with a plan to see it again tomorrow and I am possibly looking at it becoming my most watched film at the cinema if I manage to get five viewings in!
We are reunited with our favourite characters following the end of Infinity War and enter into the world where people have been lost. This shows the psychological strain it places on people and trying to adapt to life after the traumatic event.
