Teaser Trailer: The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)

Written and directed by the incredible Aaron Sorkin is enough to get me interested in a film, I absolutely love his dialogue heavy approach and that is going to be fantastic in courtroom scenes!

Check out the truly incredible cast as well, not long until this film is released on Netflix Friday October 16th 2020!

“I guess I’ll see you in the movies” – An Ode to Cinema

Lockdown and the Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic has brought many challenges for everyone, along with so many issues. Personally for me the cinema being closed has been one of the toughest adjustments, while many people may not actually understand this and see the cinema as somewhat of a luxury and somewhere they only go every so often, maybe even every couple of months to see the latest big blockbuster films. That is not the case for myself, I go two/three times a week and sometimes even more depending on what is being released. Managing to balance this in with work and occasionally being able to have a double feature with two films straight in a row.

Why do I like going so often?

Listen to Batman – Wear a Mask

2920A7A7-8944-47BD-9B71-7811B39A4FF8

As we are all more than aware a lot of kicking off has been going on within England and the UK about the changes to when and where you have to wear a mask. Yes, it is all being done four months too late. But seriously what big issue is it when they have changed the rules and from Friday we have to wear a face covering within shops? I don’t really understand what the issue is for doing this for the 15/20 minutes you will possibly be in said shop? Don’t even start by saying you cannot breathe with it on, as I am sure in the winter you will cover your face with a scarf/snood!

Come on listen to Batman and why Bruce Wayne decided to wear the mask!

Everything seems pretty ordinary on the flight from Berlin to Paris. Tobias Ellis is the co-pilot and Michael Lutzmann the pilot making the pre flight checks before taking off. Not long after being in the air terrorists enter the cockpit!

Let’s Go To The Movies on 10th July @ Cineworld!

That’s right today Cineworld announced that Cinemas in England are scheduled to open on 10th July, obviously this is provisional but I certainly see it as a light at the end of the tunnel. The cinema is the place I have missed the most since lockdown and I really cannot wait to see a film on the big screen again!

Felt like celebrating with some images from movie scenes where they go to the cinema! Can you name all the films?

A look back at 2009 in film!

Having already mentioned what a huge year 2009 is for Let’s Go To The Movies, formed in the February to be exact. That was therefore a massive year in terms of reviews for 2009 films, catching as many as I possibly could at the cinema and then reviewing them. Something I have grown to love over the past decade!

I don’t feel as though this was really an outstanding decade in terms of films and/or performances but we certainly were given plenty of entertainment. The 3D film was pushed a lot and in a few different ways which is something that Avatar really was groundbreaking with, however after ten years maybe that film was more of a gimmick than actually an amazing film? I certainly think so.
