7 Meryl Streep Performances that Deserved to Win an Oscar

Meryl Streep is the most nominated actress of all time, a massive 19 nominations to which she has won 3 times. She won for her roles in The Iron Lady and Sophie’s Choice as a leading actress and Kramer vs Kramer as a supporting actress.

This year she picked up a nomination for actress in a supporting role as the Witch in ‘Into the Woods’ in recent years Streep has quickly become one of my all time favourite actresses. It might seem like an obvious choice with her critical acclaim but I really do think she actually deserves every single piece of it. She is different in each of her film roles and brings something to each character she has played on-screen.

Blogathon: My Movie Alphabet

Stumbled across Mettel Ray Movie Blog and spotted a fantastic blogathon and thought I would get involved. Fantastic idea of coming up with your movie alphabet making it consist of movies, directors, actors and actresses who’s lives revolve around movies.

The way I decided to approach picking my alphabet was to put down the first 5 movie related things that came to mind for the certain letter! Well most of the time 5 . . . That was actually harder than I thought!

I have just come across the first lot of pictures of Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen in next years Untitled Snow White film. I think the best thing to think about Jules is WOW. She really does look incredible, I can imagine her being really good and very evil in the role. Really looking forward to seeing this one . . . yes I know I say that about all of her films.
