Ricky Gervais hosting the awards which will be an experience, I will keep updating this blog post as the show goes on.
Third part of the countdown of my top 50 films of the decade . . .
As the 2010 Golden Globe ceremony is upon us on Sunday, I thought I would start posting some build up and take a look to see who is going to be presenting (and get excited if my favorites are presenting).

The rest of the presenters are, Josh Brolin, Taylor Lautner, Amy Poehler, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Cher, Chace Crawford, Cameron Diaz, Colin Farrell, Jodie Foster, Jennifer Garner, Matthew Fox, Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, Neil Patrick Harris, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, Kiefer Sutherland, Kate Winslet, Sam Worthington, Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio.
This makes for a very good line up in the presenters, and what should be a good show.
Are you favorites involved?
Nancy Meyers is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. Her newest movie “It’s Complicated” starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin is due for release tomorrow in the UK, therefore I decided to make a blog celebrating what Nancy has done so far in the movies . . . mainly for women as that is the target audience of her movies. Making movies that other people probably wouldn’t with older actors in love stories (Somethings Gotta Give) and breaking the typical Hollywood mould, which I think is just brilliant. She is definitely one of Hollywood’s most powerful women.

She’s directed “It’s Complicated” (2009), “The Holiday” (2006), “Something’s Gotta Give” (2003), “What Women Want” (2000) and “The Parent Trap” (1998).
She’s written “It’s Complicted” (2009), “The Holiday” (2006), “Something’s Gotta Give” (2003), “The Parent Trap” (1998), “Father of the Bride Park II” (1995), “I Love Trouble” (1994), “Once Upon a Crime” (1992), “Father of the Bride” (1991), “Baby Boom” (1987) and “Private Benjamin” (1980).
She has also produced most of the movies she has written and directed.
The 67th Annual Golden Globes take place on 17th January 2010 and are the first major awards to be handed out in what will be another busy awards season. Because I had been slipping with the blog for the last few weeks I still had not posted this years nominations.

Closer to the ceremony I will post my predictions on who I think will walk away with the Golden Globe on the night.
You know what its like, theres a moment in a movie when you totally feel for the character because you can see some of yourself in them and just know you would react the way in which they do. So I decided to make a little list using icons to help explain it all.
I will start with Bridget Jones . . . picking the wrong guy and doing really stupid things, yep that sounds about right, haha. And yes I have drunk a bottle of wine to myself on a few ocassions, like a virgin is my karoke song . . .

Iris from “The Holiday” played by Kate Winslet. Had such an awful time with a certain guy, she even gets a holiday exchange to get away from him, haha. But yes I could so feel her pain at times knew exactly hows she was feeling.

Charlotte in Lost in Translation . . . I just really have hit a crossroads in my life over the past couple of years and not sure at all what I am supposed to do.
Well I guess when looking at the icons those are the only three that I could find. So this will be part one, haha.
In 3rd place is a fantastic actor (who in my view is underrated for his acting) . . . Leonardo DiCaprio.
Yep very predictable . . . another for Twilight.
Especially in a strong cateogry . . . I mean come on Kate won her Oscar for “The Reader”. But never mind eh ?
