I mean by this point I might as well just fully turn my blog into a Hocus Pocus stan blog! Disney held a premiere last night for the sequel which is released fully on Disney+ on Friday and quite frankly I am so excited for it! Just had to share this photo of the three Sanderson Sisters from last night!
That’s right Disney have released three lovely character posters featuring the three Sanderson sisters and quite frankly they look as good as they did for the original Hocus Pocus! All three actresses returning Bette Midler as Winifred, Kathy Najimy as Mary and Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah. I really cannot wait for this film!
I seriously cannot contain my excitement of this trailer for Hocus Pocus 2! Considering the rumours of a sequel have been around for at least twenty years now, it is always one of those projects I never thought would actually happen!
We will eventually get more from the Sanderson sisters in 2022! This teaser trailer does exactly that a big tease with a very small peak at Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy who are all back and looking fantastic it has to be said.
Peter has grown tired of his family wanting him to be with someone and convinces his best friend and housemate Nick to pose as his boyfriend, but this doesn’t really work when his mother Carole tries to set him up with James her personal trainer, returning hoe for Christmas just got a little bit complicated.

I have decided to do a Halloween special for the Musical Moments feature . . . Considering I usually do those posts on a Monday but thought this absolute brilliant moment from Hocus Pocus was well worthy of a slight change. I will feel the need to try and watch the full film today, but here is the little musical number. Slight Gypsy reference from Bette Midler as well? Ok yes I am a total geek I know! This was always a film that I liked a kid and didn’t find it too scary. A total guilty pleasure now 🙂
Delores is back for a second adventure and it doesn’t take long before she has the habit back on and is Sister Mary Clarence again helping out the nuns she became friends with after hiding out in the convent in the first film. This time though she must be a teacher for the music class, can she work her magic for the second time?
