A Decade at the Movies

The current trend around the movie blogging world seems to be posting lists and general posts about your favorite movies from the past decade. So I have decided that I am going to jump and board and get with everyone and figure out some of my favorite movies and performances from the past decade. Including:

Best Films

Worst Films

Guilty Pleasures

Comedies

Male Performances

Female Performances

and possibly a few more categories if I can think more up . . . some maybe top 10 lists others maybe just posts, I havent started yet so who knows at the moment.

Are you reviewing this gone decade at the movies?

Dirty Dancing or Ghost?

After the sadness of Patrick Swayze’s passing away I watched “Ghost” the other night and proceeded this pattern by watching “Dirty Dancing” last night. So I decided to have a poll to see which is everyone’s favorite from the two of Patrick’s most well loved films . . . and reasons why if you want to share.

News: Penn Takes A Break From Movies

Hopefully this will not be for too long !!!

Sean Penn is taking a break from his movie career – the Oscar winner has pulled out of his next two film projects.

The star has quit his upcoming role in action picture Cartel and scrapped plans to work alongside Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey in The Three Stooges.

Penn, who recently reconciled with wife Robin Wright Penn after their second split in 18 months, is rumoured to be taking time out to spend more time with his partner and their two teenage children.

The actor’s publicist Mara Buxbaum confirmed the news to E! Online, “We indeed informed both productions that Sean was not available now. If for whatever reason the start dates on these productions were to be postponed, Sean would happily remain involved.”

Name Change – LETS GO TO THE MOVIES

So I was thinking that my blog did not really have a name. It was just “My Views on the Movies” . . . which I thought was a little boring.

So from this day forward it is to be known as “LETS GO TO THE MOVIES” and in case your wondering why it is all in capital letters that is because I could not decide which words should begin with capitals.

Any opinions on the new name?
