Film and Theatre Lover!
Hugh Jackman back in a musical, yes please! That is what we want to see more and more of, leading the line for the big onscreen musicals. Taking on the role of P. T. Barnum who really changed everything in the entertainment world. I have seen the stage show, which wasn’t overly impressive. But luckily this film looks like it is going to be on another level completely.

A few days on ago on Facebook this incredible memory popped up from 2008 when I attended the Tony Awards in New York! An amazing evening seeing so many different people perform from so many outstanding shows. Watching In the Heights pick up the best new musical award, the night after seeing it on Broadway.
Judy O’Brien loves nothing more than dancing and is an aspiring ballerina in a dance troupe. Bubbles is also in the group and leaves for Burlesque, when the troupe disbands she gives Judy a chance to be her stooge. It will all eventually fall apart . . .

Willy Wonka famous for his chocolate bars and sweets has been a recluse for years and he suddenly announces a Golden Ticket competition. The five people who find them will be invited into his chocolate factory for the day. One of them ends up being Charlie, a very poor little boy who appreciates every second of it.

For Mother’s Day being a total film geek. I thought it was a great idea to then pass some of that onto my Mam for Mother’s Day this year. So when I received an email from a local independent cinema , the incredible Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle to be precise. That they were doing a special Afternoon Tea for Mother’s Day which included a screening of Mamma Mia! This was at a cost of £25 per person (including a glass of Prosecco)
