I have recently re-watched the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper A Star Is Born and I then received this amazing infographic from Betway with fantastic research around awards and music stars which just seemed like perfect timing. While Lady Gaga has been nominated for her amazing turn in A Star Is Born, the transition from music to film is not always a smooth one. This makes for interesting reading in all honesty, to show that they are either a massive hit or a masssive flop!

Meerkat Movies has launched its annual cinema report, revealing the habits of UK cinema goers from the past year, whilst highlighting key opinions from the cinema-going British public, with key findings including;
- UK cinemas saw the highest attendance levels for almost 50 years in 2018, with a 3.7% year-on-year increase
- Musical adaptations are more popular than ever, with David Bowie’s story topping the list of icons we’d next like to see at the cinema
- 75% of consumers polled say they feel James Bond should remain as a male lead
- When movie fans were asked what films they would most like to see a sequel to, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Deadpool 2 and Avengers: Infinity War came in as the top three
