10 years to the day, RIP to all of those who lost their lives in the awful 9/11 attacks in New York. It’s scary to think that it was now 10 years ago, but we will never forget the people lost that day.
NYC Potter Premiere
Harry Potter mania headed stateside last night for the NYC premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
Going the Distance (2010) Review
A man Garrett and a woman Erin attempt a long distance relationship whilst one lives in New York and the other in California/San Fransisco, after meeting when she was an intern at a New York newspaper. Obviously you could see where the relationship was going after she stated that she was only there for 6 more weeks.
4.3.2.1 (2010) Review
4.3.2.1 . . . set mainly in London (with a trip to New York included) is based on four friends who all have a very strange and action packed weekend. Which all begins from when they leave each other on a Friday afternoon. But this film wasn’t like any other film which kept jumping backwards and forwards to see what each friend was doing, know we had each girl’s full weekend then went back to when they left each other.
Remember Me (2010) Review
A romantic drama centered on two new lovers: Tyler (Robert Pattinson), whose parents have split in the wake of his brother’s suicide, and Ally (Emilie de Ravin), who lives each day to the fullest since witnessing her mother’s murder. A film focused on many different types of relationships and how important they are in everyday life.
Fame (1980) Review
A film which looks into several teenagers lives who attend the New York performing arts High School. Remember my name . . . FAME.
Broadway: A Little Night Music
Two of my absoloute favorite actresses are going to be starring in “A Little Night Music” which starts later this month for press viewing. Broadway Legend Angela Lansbury and making her Broadway Debut Oscar winner Catherine Zeta Jones. I would just love to be able to get to New York to see this, would be a fantastic experience. Beaches (1988) Review
This is a story about a friendship which stood the test of time. A friendship which was formed in childhood and kept through letters, it had ups and downs, they had fall outs, they did not speak after different events, but in the end they were there for each other when it really mattered.

News: Parker Hid Prudishness To Win Sex Role
As you may know by now that I love SJP and SATC especially her character Carrie Bradshaw. So to read this news is just so cute !!!
Sarah Jessica Parker hid her shyness from Sex And The City bosses – because she thought it would cost her the role of Carrie Bradshaw.
The actress rose to fame as cocktail-drinking party girl and New York newspaper columnist Bradshaw in the hit U.S. series.
She felt uncomfortable swearing in the role and was left shocked with the amount of explicit content included in the show.
But she refused to let television bosses know she was so clean-cut, fearing they would think she was the wrong person for the part.
She says, “If the audiences had known my true feelings about some of the sexual content in Sex And The City, they may have felt I wasn’t the right person to be in such a series. I just don’t drink, that’s part of the problem. I don’t like the taste of it and I don’t drink to relax.
“It has always been that way. I’ve never smoked anything other than the occasional cigarette in my whole life – and have never taken drugs of any kind.”
And Parker, who had a no-nudity clause written into her contract for the show, also had to adjust to the amount of sex scenes in each episode.
She adds, “I was thrilled that the others did the scenes so well and they looked great. But I have to deal with my own modesty. I wasn’t comfortable with the vulgar language, either. I thought that, because Carrie was a writer, she would be able to use better language than she did.”
An Affair to Remember (1957) Review
When a couple meet on a boat and arrange to meet six months later at the top of the Empire State Building, a tragedy occurs meaning one of them got held up and kept the other waiting. The couple already engaged to others cannot deny the passion between them.
