Continue reading “In the Heights (2021) Review”Feels very strange to be doing another post about a trailer for In the Heights and changing the release year to 2021. This is a film we should have all loved and enjoyed already. I was lucky enough to see this on Broadway the day before it won the Tony Award for best new musical back in 2008 and also saw it in 2016 in London.
It is a truly outstanding show and I personally think the musical numbers in it are better than Hamilton.
Eleanor is a young and unskilled fairy godmother who does not want to believe that they are not needed anymore. When she finds a letter from a young girl named Mackenzie she ventures to Boston, Massachusetts only to find out she is now 40 years old!
