A group of cats called Jellicles meet once a year at the ball to decide who will get the chance to have a new Jellicle life, competing to prove they are the most deserving cat.

The musical Cats was one of the longest running of all time in the West End and has countless tours over the years, as well as being on Broadway. I’ve seen the show three times over the years and do enjoy it, with the impressive dancing and memorable songs.
A film version was always going to be a little strange in a different way really as making people look and act like Cats isn’t exactly normal. I know the initial reactions to this trailer haven’t been good but I am actually rather impressed with the way they have done it. Plus we get Jennifer Hudson singing Memory and that is going to be amazing!
Sometimes the hype surrounding a film can build it up so much that you are therefore left disappointed. Which is why I like to put this list together, I mean the disappointment might even be from yourself building the film up as you are excited to see it! Which I guess happens mainly with sequels now.
So check out the films that left me the most disappointed in 2018 . . .

The classic fairy tale with a few twists along the way in this action and adventure retelling of the story.
