Fame (2009) Review

Remember . . . Remember my name !!!

But other than the three actor’s I already knew before going into this film, those being Megan Mullally, Kelsey Grammer and Bebe Neuwirth . . . I don’t think I will remember there names. Don’t get me wrong that may seem a strange starting with the review in a negative manner when I did still quite enjoy the film. It was far from perfect and had flaws, but a new generation and obviously more modern version.

THe Accidental Husband (2008) Review

A romantic comedy with quite a few twists and turns, can you really guess how it is going to end? The answer to that question is still yes, even if it does have a few twists to the story that might make you think ooo well maybe I was wrong.

Julie & Julia (2009) Review

I would advise not to watch this film when hungry as it will just make you even worse. So much food that really does look good enough to eat and even makes you want to cook it. Is that partly the point of this film, to encourage people to cook? That would make sense as Julia makes Julie want to cook and inspires her blog. (500) Days of Summer (2009) Review

If this is the direction that the romantic comedy genre is heading in . . . then I LOVE IT. Yes, I was very impressed with this film and found it funny, romantic, heartbreaking and just brilliant all rolled into one. Yes it was different and not a traditional Hollywood romance and falling in love. I think that it captured more what happens in the real world nowadays.  From seeing the trailer’s of this film I thought I seemed very much like Summer (Zooey Deschanel) but after seeing the movie I am only like her in certain parts.

As you may already know, I love musicals and “Chicago” is one of my favorite films. So when I found out that Rob Marshall was bringing another musical to the big stage I have been every excited about it. Even more so after watching this trailer as it looks fantastic, and really does have a great cast made up of Oscar Winners. This film has to be part of the Oscar Nominations next year.
