In London 1953, Agatha Christie’s play The Mousetrap was celebrating its 100th performance and everything was about to change as it was being adapted into a film, with sleazy American director Leo Kopernick’s drunken behaviour annoying the actors and those around the theatre. He is then killed backstage!

When Doctor Faraday visits a crumbling manor which he has some fond childhood memories of, very strange things begin to occur involving the remaining family members still living in the house.

This film is very unique, it a man Ivan Locke on a journey. A car journey for that matter taking place over an hour and a half. We are on this journey with him as his life unravels via phone calls.
The story (or inspired by the story) behind Disney’s much-loved film Mary Poppins and how difficult it was to get from the page to screen, with author P.L. Travers holding onto her beloved character and wanting her true meaning to shine through.
Due to having a holiday in Houston, Texas I managed to see this film out in the US a good month before it’s release in the UK! Well it has had quite a lot of build up with the different trailers being around for quite a while now.
