RIP Albert Finney

Just seen that this sad news broke a couple of hours ago now. I personally love him as Daddy Warbucks in Annie as well as Ed in Erin Brockovich! He was 82 years old and had starred in some very big films.

Rest in Peace ❤

Merry Christmas!

I’d like to wish all of my lovely followers and supporters a very Merry Christmas! Hope you have a fantastic day and manage to watch a few films as well!

All the very best, Caz

Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to take the time to wish all of the followers and supporters of Let’s Go To The Movies a very Merry Christmas!

I hope you all have a truly fantastic day spending time with all of the people who mean something to you and raising a glass to those who are no longer here.

What better way to start off this Christmas Day than Michael Caine singing with the Muppet’s as Scrooge from The Muppet Christmas Carol?

All the best, Caz

These must have key elements which make everyone love them and want to watch them year in year out. I think that does help make these films extra special, as long as you get the formula right recent times have been more Christmas Turkeys rather than classics.

A Christmas Carol (2009) Review

Charles Dicken’s classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge is given an animated Disney look, and if you so wish 3D (2D is still available). Scrooge is taken on a journey of redemption by three ghosts, the ghost of Christmas past, present and future. Going  back looking at his life as it was, how it is today and how it will not be for very much longer. But can he be convinced to change his ways?
