This may seem a rather controversial post considering Draco is Harry Potter’s enemy, but is it really as extreme as that was the years pass and things change at Hogwarts? I am not really sure how this post will go down with people in all honesty as at times it probably does seem crazy to feel sorry for Draco.
I must obviously state that this post does contain SPOILERS

Charlie Darby has a good life, great friends, family and a job he loves. The only problem is that the love of a woman is missing from his near perfect life, due to the fact that whenever he falls for someone he goes clinically insane.

J.J. is a private detective who thinks that a simple case of adultery is like something he has seen before, little does he know that he will become tangled in a web of lies, deceit, corruption and oh yeah murder!

Charlie Simms is in prep school and doesn’t massively fit in with the rich kids. He must get a job to help pay for it and ends up looking after blind Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade. It isn’t as easy and straightforward as he may think . . . Continue reading “Scent of a Woman (1992) Review”

A drunken evening Martha and George destroy each other in front of a young couple who have just moved to the town Nick and Honey. All taking place from 2am following a party . . .

After the current awards season I have decided to start a new project on Let’s Go To The Movies . . .
Not just to watch and review the winners of the Best Picture Oscar since it began but to watch and review all of the nominees as well. This is a very big task. For the recent years or maybe even from the 90s I might have already seen them.
When I have completed all from one year I will then bring it together and do a big post on that year. If I feel the right film won, which I enjoyed and most importantly which ones I hated. A couple stick out in my mind already thinking about that.
You can keep track of the progress with the link provided above, I will link to the reviews and add if I have seen the film. I am not going to set a time frame for this huge task but if anyone has any tips that would be appreciated, especially if a film is then available on UK Netflix or Sky On Demand, please let me know!

Reports late last night and this morning were about Netflix stopping users from accessing other countries libraries. In all honestly I had never even thought about doing this so was quite surprised to see so many people complaining and kicking off about it. But come on UK we have . . .

I always like to put together a top 10 list of films I have managed to catch up with and watch during 2014 that I had never seen before. Below you will see that I really was slacking with some of these films! Especially the Before Trilogy which I totally fell in love with.
It Happened One Night (1934) – Review

Clark Gable really is something else. This film has that groundbreaking scene of a woman’s leg in what is an amazing scene. Just showing that women can do things which men cannot! Gable gets plenty of good lines in this and the chemistry is fantastic!
I have had to change the rules a little bit to put together this post, when I started the blog I made the mistake of waiting until about March time to put out my best films of the year list. Due to UK release dates being a little later than the US. But I have decided to change it so going forward it will be what I have caught at the cinema that year (if that makes sense). So I will put a link to my 2013 list just to avoid any confusion of missed films from 2014’s list! – 2013 Best Films
Not only have I caught films this year at the cinema towards the end of the year I managed to catch ones I had missed either on one of my many flights for work in Africa this year and also on Sky Movies and Netflix as they became available. So this gives a lot of films for consideration. – Look here for 2014 tagged posts and here for films I watched at the cinema in 2014.
