Theatre: Mel Brooks on Stage (Newcastle)

After watching the Premiere of the incredible Young Frankenstein the Musical we had an extra treat when the legend that is Mel Brooks came on stage and did a little speech. Which included how much he liked Newcastle and even better that you won today. Which was exactly where I had been before the show, seeing Newcastle record their first Premier League win on the season.

It was a truly special occasion and moment to be sat in the Theatre with him on stage and really topped off a fantastic night!

Real loss is only possible when you love something more than you love yourself

It has been two weeks now since my Grandad passed away and I am still struggling to come to terms with the fact that he is no longer with us. That I won’t be able to just pop round to his house and see him, whilst also getting made fun of (in a loving joking way). I feel like that is the hardest thing to get your head around when it comes to a loss like this.
