It seems fitting that I went to see The Irishman on Martin Scorsese’s birthday! Throughly enjoyed the film and his work is always outstanding. Happy birthday Marty!

Oscars 2019 – Luncheon

Each year in the build up to the Oscar ceremony The Academy host a Luncheon for all of the nominees and previous winners as well I must add. This happened yesterday and something that it always creates is some great photos!
I also must mention that Richard E. Grant is already winning Oscar season with his fanboy nature at all of the awards events and taking many selfies with different actors! (Richard E. Grant’s Twitter feed).
7 Greatest Performances: Christian Bale
Christian Bale is quite possibly one of the greatest British actors of all time. Causing chaos at the Golden Globes when some people didn’t realise that he is Welsh! I found that very amusing but also confirmation that he is therefore a truly outstanding actor! He has been nominated four times for an Oscar-winning for his supporting role in The Fighter.
He is very well-known for his serious method acting and really becoming the character. This has resulted in serious weight loss and weight gain over the years to achieve a totally different look. Not forgetting his working out to become Batman for Christopher Nolan!
He is certainly one of my favourite actors and here are my choices for his 7 Greatest performances . . . (So far) . . .
Musical Moments – Jurassic Park
For today’s musical moment and with the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom this week I felt as though this fantastic piece of music from Jurassic Park was the perfect way to celebrate!
Seriously isn’t it still as amazing as the first time you heard it!

In the year 2045 the real world isn’t a place people want to be so they spend most of their time in the OASIS. A virtual reality world where you can be whoever you want and explore the universe collecting coins and items along the way. It’s also a game and a challenge when Halliday the creator died it was announced that whichever user finds the Easter Egg will become the owner of the OASIS and his fortune.
