Nicole Maris has her sights set on a school jock to take her to the school prom. Not everything is going to her perfect plan though and she is about to realise that sometimes what you want has been right in front of you the whole time.
This movie is based on Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. I think its good to have a modern take on Shakespeare plays, as if you study them at any level it can help you understand the meanings that are so often hiden and lost in the ages now. I like the way that this one was done. Plus Heath Ledger is just so adorable in it, and this was probably the movie everyone started paying real attention to him as a one for the future.
