Film and Theatre Lover!
With so many superhero films bombarding us over the past few years I have decided to put together a top 5 list of my favourites!

The pick of the 2012 films I have seen. Remember this is the list of films I have seen at the cinema! 2012 for me seemed to be a very strange year for film, as I don’t feel like I managed to see many films during the year or at the very least missed loads of films. But I will try to give reasons why the 10 films which are in this list have made the list!
That’s right I am 25 years old today and decided on a birthday post of the last 25 years top of the cinema box office for each year! I have seen most of the films and actually seen a lot of them at the cinema as well, Aladdin being the first film I ever went to see at the cinema! So it just shows that I have contributed to the top grossing film at the cinema too, especially with 3 viewings of The Dark Knight!
1987 – Fatal Attraction
1988 – Rain Man
1989 – Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
1990 – Ghost
1991 – Terminator 2: Judgement Day
1992 – Aladdin
1993 – Jurassic Park
1994 – The Lion King
1995 – Die Hard: With A Vengeance
1996 – Independence Day
1997 – Titanic
1998 – Armageddon
1999 – Star Wars: Episode I- The Phantom Menance
2000 – Mission: Impossible II
2001 – Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone
2002 – Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
2003 – Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
2004 – Shrek 2
2005 – Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
2006 – Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
2007 – Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
2008 – The Dark Knight
2009 – Avatar
2010 – Toy Story 3
2011 – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II
2012 – Marvel’s The Avengers (so far)
So . . . Happy Birthday to me!!!

When the world needs them The Avengers will . . . Assemble!
Some of the choices will be obvious, while others may seem a little strange. But I promise I have my reasons for wanting to see the following 14 films next year! Doesn’t seem like many, but I am sure a few little gems will be released and take me by surprise. But let’s take a small look at the films I am most looking forward to in 2012 . . .
As we are entering June, the summer films are going to be coming out thick and fast over the next couple of months. Let’s have a look and see what we have to look forward to! As with most summer films, a lot seem to be based around comic books. We have another installment from X-Men (hopefully doing better than Wolverine) and the much anticipated Captain America: The First Avenger, which is the last film in the build up to ‘The Avengers’ which is due out next year. A couple of comedies thrown in. But let’s face it, this summer is about the final Harry Potter film, part 2 of the Deathly Hallows. The end of the franchise after 10 years since it all began.
It doesn’t seem that many out and out romantic comedies are going for a summer release (unless of course I have missed them). Definitely more for the action and adventure angle this summer!
What films are you looking forward to most this summer?
