Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has taken the West End and musical theatre world by storm since debuting in Sheffield before transferring to the London in November 2017. Considering I had already bought my tickets for this show when it was announced Newcastle was on the venue and I will be seeing it on 19th August 2019! The full cast has now been announced and it certainly sounds very good!
As rehearsal begin, full casting is announced. Joining the previously announced Killian Donnelly as ‘Jean Valjean’ will be Nic Greenshields as ‘Javert’, Katie Hall as ‘Fantine’, Martin Ball as ‘Thénardier’, Sophie-Louise Dann as ‘Madame Thénardier’, Harry Apps as ‘Marius’, Tegan Bannister as ‘Eponine’, Will Richardson as ‘Enjolras’ and Bronwen Hanson as ‘Cosette’.
A very exciting announcement was made yesterday when StageCon was launched. What is StageCon? Well, it is like Comic Con but filled with Stagey related events, performances and meet and greets with stars from the London stage!

On Friday morning something truly fantastic happened and the Young Frankenstein London Cast Recording was available on iTunes and I therefore bought it straight away. It had felt like a long wait when this was all first mentioned months ago and we were told it would be out in July, but throughout July and no sign of the recording it looked as though it would just randomly appear one day. Which is exactly what ended up happening!

I currently feel that I am being haunted by this new musical based on the popular film of Pretty Woman which has recently opened on Broadway. I am really hoping to get to see it in November even more after the new production shots have been released with so many classic moments from the film included in these stills! Julia Roberts attended Pretty Woman the Musical on Broadway last night and it really is just fantastic! It was a tribute performance to Garry Marshall who directed the film version of Pretty Woman, Julia was joined by Barbara Marshall for the special evening in his honour.
