Continue reading “The Life of Chuck (2024) Review”2020 is the 15th anniversary of the BAFTA having the Rising Star Award which is voted for by the public. Starting in 2006 known as the Orange Rising Star Award and then since 2013 the EE Rising Star Award, this is due to sponsorship and pretty much helps the award with publicity and getting the public involved in the voting for the winner.
Over the years as I have become more and more obsessed with films I know more about the nominees which in all honesty makes me feel very special and at times very geeky. Which I personally love and am very proud of, I felt coming up to the 15th year it was very important to take a look back at not only the winners from each year but the other nominees as well. The list is very impressive and it feels as though someone at BAFTA can certainly pick out rising stars in the best possible way, the nominees are chosen regardless of gender, nationality and whether they have made a breakthrough in television, film or both.

After the events set by Thanos in Infinity War the universe and especially Earth is in ruins. The remaining Avengers must assemble once more in order to save everything.

The up and coming End Game is going to be the fourth Avengers film and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to take a look at the main character posters for each film. How we have plenty more within the Universe and how they have changed.
I actually think I love the End game one the most, Inifity War is a little bit disappointing I feel. Age of Ultron shows how crazy the film was going to be.
Since Thor: Ragnarok has been on Sky Cinema the past few weeks I have found myself watching it over and over again. I am actually very annoyed with myself for not including it in my top 10 films of 2017. I have no idea at all why I didn’t put it on the list as it really is a truly fantastic Marvel film!
I have actually lost count how many times I have watched it since it appeared on Sky Cinema. I will eventually buy it on 4K Blu-ray I promise!

The cinematic event that has been ten years in the making. Every film we have watched in the Marvel Universe leading to this epic explosion.

Got to love a teaser trailer, although this one has quite a few things in it which I was rather impressed with. I think it looks a pretty good addition to the Thor part of the Marvel universe in all honesty. Plus Cate Blanchett as the bad guy should be great too!

A team of scientists along with members of the Army to explore an unidentified island in the Pacific. But is it really just an adventure to see an island, or does something else reside on it?

Coming back for the much awaited second installment things get very personal for Thor who must not only defend his people of Asgard but protect the woman he loves and Earth as well.

When the world needs them The Avengers will . . . Assemble!
