Top 10 – Best Films of 2021

2021 was another strange year with the cinemas closed for a while again, so attempting to watch new films and in particular those from 2021 was quite the challenge. I feel as though this list isn’t maybe as “good” as some lists but I have had to go by the films that I have seen and I might have missed some but here it goes! Sorry, not sorry that this was a great year for musicals!

Top 10 – Worst Films of 2021

With cinemas being closed for the majority of the year new 2021 films were also released to different streaming services as well, all of which are possibilities for my 2021 top 10 lists! Cinema list of 2021 HERE and you can also see all 2021 films HERE.

As always though I do get better at picking films to watch and knowing that I will probably not like certain films, although some have certainly slipped through the net. I would love to actually blame the lack of releases at the cinema for a couple of them, but as you will see I also made bad at home choices. Hey, a new film is a new film though right?

Trailer: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

This has been my most anticipated film since, well since Spider-Man: Far From Home finished! I have totally been looking Tom Holland’s Spider-Man within the Marvel Universe and in the build up to this I have watched the three Tobey Maguire films along with the two Andrew Garfield films. Plenty of rumours that they are both going to appear in No Way Home but so far it has been kept quiet with possible photo leaks but its hard to tell with photoshopping! This trailer does show some old villain faces are returning as the multiverse gets well and truly underway!

Poster: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

I absolutely love Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and the films we have had so far and have been really looking forward to seeing No Way Home! Here is a poster that Marvel has just released for the film, I am very tempted to try and see this at the BFI IMAX during my London trip 21-23rd December, if I can manage to fit it in around the theatre trips! But I will probably have to see this on opening day as well!

Tom Holland is Percy Pig!

Apparently in the UK today is the launch of Christmas? So many new Christmas adverts and then coffee shops starting the Christmas drinks and a lovely surprise came from M&S who have for the very first time brought Percy Pig to life. Just for all my non-UK based readers, Percy Pig is actually jelly sweets although now has a massive range of many different products!

So is this really spider-pig?

M&S is my absolute favourite place the food hall is amazing and the food is top quality!

Chaos Walking (2021) Review

In a dystopian future 2258 planet New World might not always be as simple as it seems when a crashed ship with a woman onboard creates chaos for the only men left in the population.

Teaser Trailer: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

The build up to Sony releasing this first trailer, therefore the teaser trailer for Spider-Man: Now Way Home has gone a little bit crazy over the past few days! I mean I personally feel it is more than worth the wait and going to build everything up nicely for the release date in December. I actually quite like that a Marvel film in December, I’ve really loved the Spider-Man films with Tom Holland and this one is going to push those boundaries even more as we get to learn more about the multi-verse!

Cherry (2021) Review

Cherry was never really focused on college and despite meeting Emily who he believes is his true love he decides to enlist in the army as a medic and is sent to Iraq. On returning from the war he is suffering with PTSD causing his life to spiral out of control and turning to drugs and then crime.
