Theatre: Olivier Awards 2016 – Nominations

Awards season goes on this time in the Theatre world with the nominees being announced for the Olivier Awards which celebrate the West End (similar to the Tony Awards for Broadway). Obviously having managed to get down to London twice to see Gypsy I will certainly be rooting for that to win all the awards it has been nominated for!

The Boat That Rocked (2009) Review

Set in the 1960’s when pirate/illegal radio was what everyone was listening to, to hear the latest pop and rock songs. 8 DJ’s, 24 hours a day on a boat and guess what they have no morals. 18-year old Carl is sent to stay on the boat for a while and learns how much fun is to be had on the boat.
