Mirren’s Singing Nightmare

Awww poor Helen. So there is something she isnt that good at.

Dame Helen Mirren has been banned from singing around her home – because her husband cannot bear to hear her tuneless warbling.

The Queen star enjoys belting out tracks and often finds herself singing along to songs she hears.

But her director husband Taylor Hackford insists she should keep quiet – until she learns to carry a tune.

Mirren says, “I’ve got no musical abilities whatsoever. I sing if I’m listening to music. I sing along with it – I can hit the note if I’ve just heard it.

“My husband is very musical. He just hates to hear me sing – he shuts me up!”
