10 Movie Quotes – That Mean Something To Me

I decided to do a list of 10 movie quotes that really mean something to me and I really relate to with how I feel about love, a certain man and life in general. I probably have posted most of these quotes on the blog at some point, but that just shows how much I love them,

“Sometimes I wish I had never met you. Because then I could go to sleep at night not knowing that there is someone like you out there.” (Good Will Hunting) –

While I love this quote, I more love that it kinda explained how I felt about someone a while ago. I always feel it is mis-quoted in terms of how it is said in the movie, as it is not said between two people who love each other. It is about Will Hunting (Matt Damon) being so brilliant.

“I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life, the way I feel when I’m with you.” (Dirty Dancing)

Dang this hit me very hard when I watched the movie recently as it was totally how I felt when I left to come to the USA when I kinda said goodbye to someone. Although we did not say bye as such . . . but that whole moment in Dirty Dancing is totally how I felt.

“After all . . . tomorrow, is another day.” (Gone with the Wind)

I think this is always important to remember. That no matter how bad things are, tomorrow is another day (and hopefully a change in fortune?)

[Of her hopeless affair] I just wish the sex wasn’t so amazing. (The Terminal)

I dont really think this one needs any explaination, as it kinda explains it all . . . Plus I just love that its Catzy’s character. I have way too much in common with that woman, haha.

“If you love someone you say it right then, out loud. Otherwise the moment just . . . passes you by . . . ” (My Best Friends Wedding)

I dont no how exactly I relate to this one as I dont think I’ve missed the moment but I always feel I would end up like Jules in this movie and miss my moment with the guy I think is the one.

“You cant help who you love, your not supposed to.” (Save the Last Dance)

Always nice to remember that you cant help who you fall for, yep you fell for him and theres nothing you can do about it . . . dammit.

“I wish I knew how to quit you” (Brokeback Mountain)

I so wish that it was easy to quit someone !!! Have to agree with Jack Twist on that . . . I just love the way it is put . . . quit you, like your a drug and cannot easily be forgotten or given up.

“Carpe Diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.” (Dead Poets Society)

Carpe diem has always meant a lot to me and I try to remember that all of the time, to seize the day and live for the moment. I loved the way it was in Dead Poets Society, Robin Williams is just great.

“I know who you are. I love you. I love everything about you that hurts.” (Closer)

I just think this quote really rips your heart out when you see it in the film. Its so powerful and just the way you really want to feel about someone you love.

“It is a truth universally acknowleged that when one part of your life starts going okay, another falls spectacularly to pieces. (Bridget Jones Diary)

I have actually found this quite true in recent times, just kinda backs up that you will and can never have everything all at once . . .
