Well yesterday I went to Starbucks (yes I have an obsession with Starbucks) and the Christmas Cups came out yesterday. Now incase you do not know what I mean the Christmas cups are red and Christmas style drinks are out. Yesterday I had a Dark Cherry Mocha which is on the Christmas menu.
And because I am extremly sad I took a picture . . .

So does this mean that I can therefore begin to watch Christmas movies and review and make lists etc? Or shall I wait until Decemeber hits? Views?
The retail-world-at-large has started seeing November 1st as a green light to start rolling out all things Christmas.
While I am usually quite full of holiday spirit, I must disagree.
I say later this month…around the fifteenth or so is OK to start things going. But slowly! Where movies and music are concerned, I’d say it’s better to hold off until December.

At my local Starbucks, they have gingerbread, eggnog and peppermint.
I would agree with Mad Hatter on this one. Wait until the middle of the month before diving into Christmas movies.

So one giant corporate retailers idea of Christmas is to serve its drinks in red cups. Red a colour that only became associated with Christmas because of another giant corporation Coca Cola! Dark Cherry Mocha? I like my coffee strong black and with two spoonfuls of brown sugar and nothing else. End of rant.

The Dark Cherry Mocha is not a drink I will be getting again. I need more coffee in my coffee . . . it was too much chocolate for my liking.
