I woke up to this sad news this morning. I was such a fan of Joanie when I used to watch the Wrestling and as a young girl I felt she was an inspiration for women to never give up and prove that we can really compete with men. I will be forever grateful for the courage she gave me to believe I could do anything I wanted! Even when having a tough life and having to constantly fight (her book is very good as well).

It’s such a shame she died so young. I grew up in the era where she was beating up the men and just being a general bad-ass. Shell be missed.
