I guess this means it is real now, the remake or reboot or something like that of Jumanji. I must say that I still love Jumanji to this day and enjoy watching it as much now as I did back when it was released in the 90s. I was pretty disappointed when I heard they were bringing it back, have a watch . . .
Are you still with me?
Well, can I just say that after now watching that I am very unimpressed yet happy they aren’t going to be spoiling anything about the original. It seems a very strange way to change things considering it was a board game rather than a video game.
Due to be released on Boxing Day in the UK.
Thoughts???
It looks like fun. Insane idiotic fun. 🙂

It seems incredibly stupid to me and I won’t be checking it out!

Yeah I can totally understand why! I have a feeling I will end up seeing it between Christmas and New Year!

Frist I beginning to think Hollywood is stupid to remake oh! I am sorry reboot the new word for remake that sounds cool bu doe not. HO! yeah like we are stupid. instead of doing an original story or to find writers that write original stories or do, a rewrite of a bad film. No not Hollywood that will be stupid. So to me they should give me the money the 120 million dollars to make this film or so, so I can retire in my beautiful Island with 7 beautiful young women (ok I know I am dreaming) They are wasting more left and right. I am not going to see that on nor that I saw the original.

It really is getting crazy with the reboot/remakes we are constantly getting.

I was a little bit older when the Robin Williams one came out & have no particular affiliation, I actually liked the trailer MORE than I expected to but in a stupid, Brendan Fraser kinda way. It’ll be good Sunday afternoon TV viewing but I wouldn’t pay to see it!

That’s a good way to put it. I guess it depends on your love for the Robin Williams film.

I completely agree with you. Jumanji was one of my favorite childhood movies. It still holds a special place in my heart and when I first heard about this reboot and saw the casting I was pretty disappointed. BUT with the release of the trailer I can say that I’m definitely able to separate the original from this one. Only time will tell if this is a solid movie, but I’m not bitter about it anymore!! LOL
