I really do love it when older films are given a rerelease at the cinema as I think it makes it special to see a film on the big screen!
I certainly want to head to the cinema to see this film (as I have never seen it before) will you be tempted to see it?
I think we miss so much when we can only access them via our computer (or TV) screens.

I watched this for the first time this year, on the old DVD which, frankly, looks pretty ropey. Still a great film though. Not sure I’ll be able to make it to a screening of the restoration, so hopefully a nice new Blu-ray will follow.

Yeah I do imagine that it will get a nice 4K Ultra HD Blu Ray release as well, I’ll let you know if I get anymore info sent through!

This could be the best time to see it then! I feel like I need to have a trip to the cinema to watch it.

It’s showing at the BFI Southbank for most of December so will likely try and go when I have the time.
