I won’t say anything about this film to give plot points away from those who haven’t seen it, but if it wins Best Picture at the Academy Awards, it immediately goes to the top of the list of worst films to be so honored….as pretentious and condescending a film as I have ever suffered through….

I am so hoping for The Shape of Water! I am disappointed with this as Darkest Hour should have been honoured with Outstanding British Film for me!

I mentioned once before how much I grew to hate “Three Billboards” by the time it was over, and I completely agree there were much better choices! Oh well, I know there are films I love that are not considered great cinema!

I still think In Bruges is a much better film and feel sad it didn’t get anywhere as much praise as Three Billboards.

True, that was really well done!

Also, well earned, but like you, I would’ve thought Darkest Hour too.

Yeah I thought it deserved something. Although I am now hoping it means The Shape of Water will take home best film!

Disagree with John’s view on this…. thought this was well deserved, but probably means Shape of Water will get the Best Film…. unlikely to give both to one film I would have thought.
