Having rewatched Chicago over the weekend it got me thinking about this song Class, which was added to the DVD release as a deleted scene. It is an incredibly powerful song that still feels so relevant to this day. It has always been in the stage show and that is something that I love about that version, the reason it was cut from the film? Well, they didn’t feel it fit in with the rest of the film being the musical numbers taking place in Roxie’s head (I mean don’t get me started that Mr. Cellophane doesn’t fit in with that). Anyway why not enjoy Queen Latifah and Catherine Zeta Jones singing Class?
