Most well known for her role as Mrs Banks in Mary Poppins, Glynis Johns was an incredible actress of both stage and screen. The song Send in the Clowns, was written for her by Stephen Sondheim.
She passed away at the age of 100! Having reached that incredible milestone in October 2023.

Rest in Peace Glynis ❤️
A sad loss indeed, but I’m glad she lived to be 100. It’s sad that she’s outlived all 4 of her ex-husbands as well as her son.
She also appeared in two other live-action Disney films prior to Mary Poppins: The Sword and the Rose and Rob Roy: The Highland Rogue.

Yes, she’s joined the ranks alongside Bob Hope, George Burns, Olivia de Havilland, and Kirk Douglas!
