When Curtis and his family are selected to test a new AI home device called AIA, which very quickly learns the families behaviours and what they need managing to use this to gain trust.

The opening scene we see something strange going on in a house with a family who had turned off the AI, and a young girl then going missing because of it. Although with what would unfold after this, I feel as though the whole plot went in a different direction.
Curtis was in a good position within his work and respected his boss, when they are shown a new form of AI that will change lives he must trial it out with his family. AIA helps support with everyday tasks, although many cameras are placed throughout the home and “she” manages to get all of the family members on her side. Being able to scan all devices they use and alllowing emotions to then be played upon.
I mean I guess the film does offer some interesting takes on how AI could go and that in your weakest moments when you need support this seems like a good option. Overall though the film is very messy and doesn’t seem to really know what it wants to be, not really going full horror and having maybe one or two attempts of a jump scare moment?
