Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025) Review

Five years after Dominion and an expedition sets out to banned regions to extra DNA from three prehistroic creatures believing that this will although groundbreaking medical breakthroughs to help mankind.

⭐️⭐️

In Jurassic World: Rebirth, audiences are drawn into an exciting adventure that unites the past and present. The film examines the results of humanity’s quest to control dinosaur DNA, resulting in a world where dinosaurs live alongside people. With impressive visual effects and an engaging storyline, “Rebirth” brings back memories of earlier films while introducing fresh themes about coexistence and the ethics of scientific progress.

Naturally everything about the plan from Martin Krebs is just going to be a disaster, as we have experienced it all before. You know a rich man with dreams of becoming even richer and using those with skills and knowledge to try and achieve this, those being Zora Bennett and Dudcan Kincaid who are used to the dangeous adventures. Dr Henry Loomis who is obsessed with dinosaurs but he had never actually seen them in the wild.

That pretty much follows the formula from the original Jurassic Park films, which isn’t really a bad thing. We know that works, but alongside that we are given a family who turn out to be indestructible. I honestly didn’t feel that they added anything of value to the plot, other than more characters thrown in.

I was actually really looking forward to this film as by the trailers it did look like a rebirth and something to kickstart it all again after how disappointing the previous film was, but it just missed the mark in too many ways. How is it possible that for a film released in 2025 can the CGI be so bad at times, not just with the dinosaurs but the climbing scene just looked terrible. I don’t really want to get into the whole D-Rex thing, as just what?

I really did think with Scarlett Johansson taking on one of the leading roles that it would work, don’t get me wrong I still loved her as normal the same can also be said for Mahershala Ali and then man of the moment Jonathan Bailey following his role as Fiero in Wicked.

What next? Probably more of the same, maybe the magic of these films has just gone for me now?

  1. I personally enjoyed this. Maybe it’s a guilty pleasure of mine, but I definitely think it was better than the last two Jurassic World movies.

I also didn’t have a problem with the D-rex not being seen much; I enjoyed them keeping it in the shadows for the vast majority of the film.

I hated that boyfriend character, like wow, he was such a loser! At least they get him to change near the end, but in the beginning, I’d have loved to see him get eaten first.
