This has been one of my favorites since I first saw it. Such an emotional journey we are taken on with The Ram as he battles back from a heart attack whilst trying to reconcile with his estranged daughter who actually gives him one last chance. But in the end the only thing that he can relate to is being in the ring and wrestling.
Day 3: Favorite comedy

I always find picking a favorite comedy film the most difficult choice, as comedy preferences tend to change over the years. Depending on the time they were made and when exactly you watch them. I am going to go British and for an older film, with ‘The Full Monty’ I really do find myself laughing at this film on each viewing.
Day 2: Least favorite film

This is such a tough one as quite a lot of films out there which I didn’t particularly like but to have to have a least favorite film is difficult to choose. I have gone for Twilight as it was so disappointing after reading the book. It makes no sense whatsoever if you were not a fan of the book.
Day 1: Favorite film

Everyone who has read my blog before will already know the answer to this one . . . yes that’s right Million Dollar Baby. I have loved it since the first viewing when it really broke my heart. Such fantastic performances from the whole cast and such an inspirational story of a woman who is determined to get to where she wants to in a sport.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II (2011) Poster
The first poster has been released for the most anticipated film of the year in the final chapter of the Harry Potter series. It really is just a fantastic way to start off what I can imagine will be a lot of posters. We are used to seeing loads for the Potter films and I am sure this one will be no different and possibly even have more than the previous films!

The King’s Speech (2010) Poster – PG
The King’s Speech is being released in the US with a PG rating release (swearing cut out) and they have a new poster, which I just had to blog because it is such a lovely poster. Aiming the film more at the family audience.

Puss in Boots (2011) Poster
The first poster has been released for ‘Puss in Boots’ a spin off with the character from ‘Shrek’.

The Shootist (1976) Review

J.B Brooks (Wayne) a dying gunfighter spends his last days looking for a way to die with a minimum of pain and a maximum of dignity.
Arise Sir Colin Firth?

Rumours are flying around today that Colin Firth is set to be included in the Queen’s birthday honours list in June to be knighted. This is after his Oscar-winning performance in ‘The King’s Speech’ in which he portrays King George VI. He has been an incredible ambassador for the UK throughout his entire career. I would be very happy to see Colin knighted. I guess we just have to wait to find out if there is any truth in the rumours!
