BAFTA Film Awards 2019 – Nominations

Here we have it the 2018 BAFTA nominations!

The EE British Academy Film Awards take place on Sunday 10 February at the Royal Albert Hall, London. The ceremony will be hosted by Joanna Lumley and will be broadcast exclusively on BBC One and BBC One HD. The ceremony is also broadcast in all major territories around the world.

I am actually so disappointend that Three Billboards has taken this and Oustanding British Film in all honesty. Was hoping for The Shape of Water!

Again no shocks or surprises as Frances McDormand takes home the BAFTA for actress in a leading role for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

A pretty impressive speech as she said she doesn’t always conform and rebels but stands with the women dressed in black!

Gary Oldman for his incredible portrayal of Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour!

Allison Janney for I, Tonya. I haven’t seen this one yet as we are still waiting for the full release in the UK!

No surprise here with Sam Rockwell picking up this award for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
