Musical Moments – Joker dancing to Prince!

I totally forgot just how impressive this scene is from Batman (1989) and with Jack Nicholson in the role as the Joker doing a fantastic dance to Partyman by Prince. It really is just one of those scenes where the music fights so perfectly with the characters and film as a whole.

Musical Moments – We’ll Meet Again – Vera Lynn

06EAF403-FBD7-486C-AD88-9CF092D1CFFC

We’ll Meet Again is a song that was first around in World War II and was sung to the troops by Vera Lynn before they left England to fight. The lyrics are truly poignant and powerful, last night The Queen addressed the nation and finished by saying we will meet again and other references to the war were within the speech. So since then I have been thinking about this song especially considering it reminds me of my Nanna who was evacuated during WWII so much so we had it as the final song at her funeral.

Music legend Neil Diamond has had a slight lyric change to his incredible song Sweet Caroline and another little reminder to people about washing hands and not reaching out to touch anyone! Great to see the legend looking so well it has to be said.
