Sad news breaking this morning that country singing legend Kenny Rogers has passed away at the age of 81 from natural causes, his duet of Islands in the Stream with Dolly Parton is one of my all time favourite songs. Rest in Peace Kenny ❤️

RIP Rip Torn
Rest in Peace to actor Rip Torn who passed away yesterday at the age of 88. He had a very impressive career spanning decades and was in many different films, personally for me I will always remember him from Men in Black.
Recreating the Movie – Pocahontas
Before Disney realised that it was actually a great idea to sell costumes, back in the 90s and for Christmas one year my Auntie actually made me my very own Pocahontas outfit! I had actually promised to post this photo when I reviewed the film (here) therefore when I came across this photo this morning I had to double check to see if I had posted this in my Recreated the Movie feature!
It also comes as a small tribute to my Nanna Darling who passed away six years ago today! Forever RIP to the gorgeous woman who reminded me of Joan Collins ❤️

RIP Albert Finney
Just seen that this sad news broke a couple of hours ago now. I personally love him as Daddy Warbucks in Annie as well as Ed in Erin Brockovich! He was 82 years old and had starred in some very big films.

RIP Penny Marshall
Rest in peace Penny Marshall who passed away at the age of 75. She has been a truly outstanding role model for female directors having directed the following films Jumpin’ Jack Flash (a personal favourite of mine), Big, Awakenings, A League of Their Own, The Preacher’s Wife, Riding in Cars with Boys. All truly outstanding films! Also not forgetting her amazing cameo performance in Hocus Pocus! She was the first female director to direct a film that grossed over 100 million dollars in the US with Big!

7 Years Today – Nanna Hannah
It has been 7 years since my amazing Nanna Hannah passed away and I always feel this photo was a good one taken on Christmas Day 2010 ❤
Two years ago I shared that I would be watching and reviewing films she watched back in 1953 as I have her diary from that year and she loved watching films and going to the cinema as much as I do!

A truly iconic singer who has moved everyone with her unique voice and style over the decades.
RIP Emma Chambers
The sad news that actress Emma Chambers passed away broke earlier today, she was only 53 years old. She starred for many years in the Vicar of Dibley which was one of my favourite TV Shows growing up and then of course in Notting Hill.
RIP Emma, thoughts go out to her family at this very sad time
