The sad news that actress Emma Chambers passed away broke earlier today, she was only 53 years old. She starred for many years in the Vicar of Dibley which was one of my favourite TV Shows growing up and then of course in Notting Hill.
RIP Emma, thoughts go out to her family at this very sad time

53. Thats no age at all and dreadfully unfair. Coming so soon after Johann Johannsson passing at 48, well, I have to wonder what’s going on already with 2018.

I wasn’t familiar with her, but I saw the news on BBC.
Yesterday, I had two celebrities’ deaths that hit me hard: the Bollywood actress Sridevi and the Pixar/Disney/Sesame Street animator and voice actor Bud Luckey.
I was such a huge fan of the Vicar of Dibley when it was first on and still enjoy the repeats now. Plus Notting Hill!
I hadn’t heard of Sridevi.
She was a big Bollywood star in the 1980s, so Bollywood fans knew her well.

That’s sad. I rewatched the Vicar of Dibley Christmas specials recently and she was perfect in that role. It must have been hard to convincingly play that daft. RIP
