Since seeing Beautiful in October 2016, I have now seen it four times and that is without a doubt because of Cassidy Janson, although my timing was bad for the third time as she was on holiday.
Her performance of Carole King has absolutely blown me away with her amazing acting ability and that voice! The way she goes for it with the different songs is truly outstanding. So on closing night it was a true honour to get to meet her at the stage door and have her sign my programme and the photo below.

Another incredible meet after seeing La Cage Aux Folles was Adrian Zmed who was just brilliant from start to finish in the show. He had quite a big crowd of people waiting at the stage door for him and was absolutely fantastic signing and taking photos.

He did also mention that the show is trying to find a Theatre in the West End so watch out for that!

I promise that this is my very last post about my New York trip (honestly) it might just stem some film related posts though, but don’t worry I still have a few film/tv related photos to share. Some of them are from knowledge gained on the On Location Central Park and/or Bus Tour.

Stage Door: David Hyde Pierce
Ellen’s Stardust Diner

On returning home from New York we were greeted by my Auntie who rushed round with this truly incredible cake that she made herself. Entirely edible as well I must add! I seriously still cannot believe how amazing it all looks. The amazing detail that she put into it is truly outstanding!
Following the sensational performance of Hello, Dolly we went straight for the stage door and got a fantastic spot at the front of one of the barriers. Quite a lot of people congregated hoping to see Bette, but rumours around the crowd were that she never comes out on a Sunday. Which turned out to be true.
David Hyde Pierce did come out though and he was fantastic, taking plenty of time to make sure he signed everyone’s Playbill and made eye contact saying hello as he was signing. I was super impressed with Niles, yes I could not resist that Frasier reference!

I had been told about this place a lot before going on the trip as the waiters all take turns to sing in the one of a kind diner. So naturally it was on the list of places to go to, we ended up going twice as well. Both times for breakfast, didn’t have to queue early on in the morning which as a bonus, as well as the food being fantastic and the entertainment even better.
