Sad news that Dame Joan Plowright passed away on 16th January 2025, at the age of 95. She was the widow of Laurence Olivier and had been a titan on stage, screen and tv for over 60 decades. Rest in peace to Dame Joan.

Oh totally, I rewatched Nothing Like a Dame in her memory last night, also that of Maggie Smith.
