I think I mentioned this to you a few months back when commenting on your Million Dollar Baby review. A Clint Eastwood film is always worth seeing and with the added bonus of Morgan Freeman, I’m really looking forward to this one.

The book (Playing the Enemy by John Carlin) was superb, if the movie is half as good it’s worth a look. Freeman a perfect choice for Mandela, Damon not so sure. The actual rugby team captain is a 6’3″ hulk of a man, as one might expect. Neverthess, it’s such a great story I’ll go to see this.

“Freeman a perfect choice for Mandela” it’s far more interesting than that. Freeman purchased the screen rights to the book, is executive producer and hired his fried Clint Eastwood to direct. Eastwood and Freeman together again, I smell Oscars!
